We routinely receive compliments from customers on the how easy it is to order from Webtrol. Our ordering process is, by design, very simple and very efficient. It bypasses typical layers of corporate management and empowers team members.
It starts with the customer directly and easily communicating with our service team, sales reps, and/or customer support. Our process works like this:
1. Our service team receives the order and enters it into our system. During the order request, our team member assesses stock availability and current lead times to provide accurate delivery expectations. Once order entry is complete, the customer will receive an email confirmation that shows items order, pricing and delivery address.
2. Our service team then sends the Pick List over to the production department. A Manufacturing Order is created for the pump(s) from the Pick List. The production team uses the Manufacturing Order, which contains a Bill of Materials for each pump, to build against. Once completed, the pump is securely crated for shipping.
The pump, along with the Pick List, Manufacturing Order, and Bill of Materials, heads to our shipping department. Our shipping manager verifies the order accuracy against all of the paperwork.
3. The shipping department then books the shipment with one of our trusted carriers and creates a Packing List. Once this is done, the customer will receive an electronic copy of the Packing List, which contains the tracking information for the order. The order and its Packing List are loaded on the truck and shipped out to another satisfied customer.
The success of our ordering process is evident when we hear from customers like Mr. S:
“My rep makes the ordering process smooth. I can call, text, or email him and within minutes I get an email acknowledging my order.”
That’s Webtrol’s “Service You Deserve”!
