Car washes rely on continuous-duty, high pressure pumps to clean lines of waiting, dirty cars. Typically multistage pumps such as the Webtrol EZ Series boosters are effective for car washes.
But taking that to the next level is our customer located in rural Idaho who built a truck washdown station for livestock trailers.
The wash is equipped with Webtrol NV Series vertical booster pumps that provide up to 380 PSI from their 5 horsepower motors. They provide plenty of power to adequately clean filthy livestock trailers.
In this rural setting, multiple water holding tanks supply water for the NV45B7FE3T pumps. The small footprint pumps – with suction and discharge on the same plane – allows for a direct flow to the supply lines that feed heavy-duty hoses to get the job done.
Besides the NV Series, the EZ Series booster is a common option for car wash rinse/spray sections. The Webtrol TC Series, 2TC Series, and HT Series centrifugal pumps are excellent choices for spray applications in spray bar tunnels. And the new ME Series Multistage Centrifugal combines the performance of a multistage pump with the compact size of a centrifugal, perfect for a small pump room.
